ALL of it starts with the same question, asked in a thousand group chats every weekend: where are we going tonight? The answer is out there — but it is scattered across a dozen sites that do not agree with each other, buried in listings nobody edited and dates nobody checked. Finding a good night should not be the hardest part of having one. We are building the place where that question gets a straight answer.
KIDS is what this culture has called its own since the warehouse days. The kandi kids of the ’90s never grew out of it — they are out dancing right now, and the generation raised on their records is right there beside them. They plan months around a lineup. They drive four hours for a proper sound system. They are not browsing: they already know what they want, and they deserve one trustworthy place that shows them where to buy it.
THIS is what we are making: a curated guide to electronic music across Canada and the United States. No event will be listed until a person has read it and approved it. The organiser is credited, we publish only what we have the right to publish, and when you have chosen your night we send you straight to the official ticket seller to buy it. We will not sell tickets, hold inventory, or touch your money — we bring the crowd, and the box office stays where it belongs.
DAYS not launches. We will open one city at a time, and only when it holds real events we can stand behind: Vancouver first, then outward across Canada and the United States. A page with three true nights is worth more than thirty borrowed ones. This manifesto comes before the product so the product has something to answer to. Until then — may your night be in full bloom.
